Colombia needs help after a strong earthquake struck the country.
Active Since 11/08/2026

On August 10, 2026, at 7:34 a.m., Colombia was hit by a 7.4-magnitude earthquake. The epicenter was near San José del Palmar, in the department of Chocó, and the tremor was felt across several regions of the country.
The disaster left families without homes, people injured, buildings damaged, and entire communities facing uncertainty. In remote areas, access to clean water, healthcare, food, shelter, and communication with loved ones has become even more difficult. While rescue teams and authorities continue assessing the damage, thousands of people need immediate support to get through this crisis.
That is why Help Colombia exists.
Help Colombia is a solidarity campaign created to bring together people who want to support those affected by this disaster. Every contribution can help provide food, clean water, hygiene supplies, temporary shelter, medical support, and essential resources for families who have lost part—or all—of their lives as they knew them.
Chocó, one of the hardest-hit regions, needs urgent attention. Many communities were already facing serious challenges before the earthquake and now need support to rebuild homes, restore access to basic services, and regain a sense of safety. Behind every number is a family trying to reconnect with loved ones, a child in need of protection, and a community that cannot be left alone.
Humanitarian aid is critical in the first hours, but recovery takes time. That is why every donation, no matter the amount, matters. One act of solidarity can help deliver water, food, healthcare, and hope to people facing one of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Colombia needs unity. Help Colombia invites you to be part of this movement of support and show that, even from far away, it is possible to help rebuild lives.
