Help Cancer Warrior Myra and Family ❤️

Hi my name is Samuel Weidenhofer & I’m fundraising for the Davidson family, who are facing an unimaginable journey no family should ever have to endure.

Their six year old daughter, Myra, is currently battling brain and spinal cancer and is undergoing intensive treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital. What started as what appeared to be a simple illness quickly became something far more serious.

After experiencing concerning symptoms, including difficulty walking, changes in behaviour, and numbness, doctors discovered a large brain tumor. Further testing revealed that the cancer had also spread to her spine.

Myra is now bravely facing chemotherapy and radiation. At only six years old, she is enduring the difficult side effects of treatment, including hair loss, extreme fatigue, changes in her sense of taste, and a significant struggle with her appetite.

Despite everything she is going through, Myra continues to show incredible strength and courage.

This heartbreaking diagnosis comes after an already devastating year for the Davidson family. Just over a year ago, Myra’s father, Wyatt, suffered a life-threatening accident that left him with burns covering 66% of his body.

As the family’s primary breadwinner, Wyatt has been unable to return to work due to the severe damage to his hands and arms while continuing his long road to recovery.

The family has also experienced the unimaginable loss of one of their twin babies, who sadly passed away in utero during pregnancy.

After everything they have endured, this family is now facing another fight supporting their young daughter through cancer treatment while also dealing with the emotional and financial challenges that come with months of medical care, hospital visits, and lost income.
