He was so close. June 6th was supposed to be his day — the day he'd ring the bell and celebrate the end of treatment. His mom was ready to celebrate. Uthmaan was ready to just be a kid again.
Then the cancer came back. Stronger. And as if that wasn't enough, Uthmaan and his mom are now at risk of losing their home. No family to lean on. No safety net. Just the two of them, and a fight that never seems to pause.
And still — he smiles. He still tries to be brave, even when the world keeps testing him.
